The Republic of Tea is known for its innovative and award-winning packaging, distinguished teas and herbs are packaged in specially-designed, air-tight tins containing either full-leaf teas and herbs or the brand's signature round, unbleached tea bags, free of unnecessary envelopes, strings tags or staples.

The Republic of Tea is seeking a part time or contract Talent Acqusition Manager, which may turn into a full time position to join our TEAm.


POSITION SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Manager is both a leadership and hands-on role. This role will be instrumental in educating, consulting, and partnering with management on talent acquisition best practices and strategies to drive top talent in the organization. This role is instrumental in implementing recruiting strategies that consider current and future talent demands while implementing a plan to support business objectives. This role will support our multiple manufacturing sites, Corporate office and remote Sales Ministers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Deliver best in class, innovative, and creative sourcing strategies that meet business needs and which create a deep pipeline of diverse, high caliber talent for the organization.
  • Partner and directly interact with all levels of management and provide coaching, consulting and ensure talent acquisition operation alignment. Guide the Leadership TEAm to shape talent and make associated talent decisions that align with the business strategy.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the overall talent acquisition strategy and partner with leadership to identify talent gaps and enact proactive strategies to identity and attract top talent.
  • Pipeline and hire for critical talent pools across the company.
  • Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interview, screening, calls, etc.)
  • Guide the hiring manager throughout the recruitment life-cycle as needed
  • Take steps to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Once proper candidate selection is made, develop onboarding and training programs to ensure success of candidate.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of relevant recruiting procedures and practices in compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.

  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, related field or equivalent experience;
  • Five years of experience in Talent Acquisition Management or Recruiting (preferably in a Manufacturing environment);
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting and sourcing
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases
  • PHR of SHRMCP Certification a plus;
  • Proven experience with HRIS (Ceridian preferred);
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point);
  • Good understanding of IL and Federal Employment laws;
