Ecommerce Project Manager and Front-End Developer

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Republic of Tea is seeking an Ecommerce Project Manager & Front-End Developer. This position is responsible for managing the research, development, planning, and implementation of all projects that support The Republic of Tea's ecommerce efforts. In this role you will utilize strong project management skills to manage daily vendor communications and project completion timelines. Additionally, you'll be relied upon to provide front-end web development across multiple platforms, and brands! In this position you will:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with and manage vendor partner relationships.

• Provide support to end users on a variety of issues. Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.

• Understand project goals, gather requirements, participate in scoping, and deliver estimates.
• Coordinate with third-party partners to define roles and responsibilities for project execution.
• Proactively participate in solutioning and troubleshooting.
• Participate in quality assurance testing.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes.
• Contribute to the development of new services and offerings.
• Understand and implement UI/UX web designs to improve and optimize the online shopping experience.
• Analyze current technology and stay abreast of emerging technology that may further or better meet the needs of the organization's online presence.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Experience:

• Previous project management experience.

• Understanding of ecommerce programs; loyalty/subscriptions, autoship etc.

• Experience developing wire frames.

• Understanding of e-commerce web design, UI/UX, and development process.
• Experience with ecommerce analytics including conversion rate optimization.

• Extensive experience with technology planning, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, and introducing new concepts in the digital space.
• Advanced knowledge in web-based programming languages for both browser and mobile. (HTML5, CSS, or JavaScript/jQuery/with a focus on AJAX preferred)
• Knowledge of and experience with multiple web frameworks, bootstrap responsive is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; able to communicate clearly and concisely with team members and executive leaders both verbally and in writing.
• Relationship management experience integrating multiple third-party services.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with ecommerce management platforms such as Kalio, Shopify, Magento, etc. highly preferred.
• More than 1 year of project management experience.

This position will be located in St Louis with regular visits to our HQ in Nashville, IL (~50 miles away from St Louis) and some travel to our other office locations: Larkspur, CA and Boston, MA.
