Ecommerce Specialist

The Republic of Tea is looking for an Ecommerce Specialist to join our TEAM! In this role, you will report to the Minister of Information and utilize the support of a team of Ecommerce and Marketing experts! Your main responsibility in this role will be to masterfully curate the on-site Citizen shopping experience. This will include coordinating new product launches, merchandising the website, optimizing site navigation and menus, streamlining on-site searching and personalization, executing on multivariate testing, and managing product reviews. In this role you will:

• Hold responsibility for all aspects of our brand website(s)
  • Coordination of new content, gathering data, copy and hero imagery
  • Manage all website merchandising strategies by harmonizing the process for new tea and herb launches, and updates to existing teas
  • Curating the look, feel and navigation of the website
  • Provide analytics and insights on website activities in relation to TEAm KPI's
  • Ensure all updates are aligned with brand vision and standards
  • Perform research and provide insights and recommendations that may improve the website experience, content, usability, conversion
• Optimize brands' loyalty and subscription programs on-site presence to align with strategy
• Manage checkout sampling program
• Manage content personalization by acting as key contact to vendors and partners who support Search, Personalization, Reviews and Multivariate testing

• Write, edit, and publish content for blog page
• Digitize our printed tea catalog and publish to our website

Required skills, experiences, and achievements you possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• A general understanding of common Ecommerce KPIs, target setting and external benchmarks
• Experience with copywriting and content management systems
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

This position will be located in Saint Louis, MO with regular visits to our Operations HQ in Nashville, IL (~50 miles away from Saint Louis, MO) and some travel to our other office locations: Larkspur, CA and Boston, MA.
