POSITION SUMMARY:

The Republic of Tea is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator/Office Administrator to provide critical assistance with office-wide initiatives, support administrative tasks and other critical projects as a part of the Human Resources TEAm.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support to multiple departments on People related activities: process HR paperwork, address inquiries related to HR matters, maintain Personnel files, submit and track various costs/invoicing/trainings and assist with internal processes.
  • Provide high-level support to Operations and HR; Manage sensitive and confidential information, perform advanced, diversified and confidential administrative projects.
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding.
  • Maintain our HRIS system and generate reports as needed.
  • Liaise with Finance, Operations, HR, office staff and vendors to consistently meet business needs.
  • Assist with planning and execution of company events and functions; catering and food accommodations, travel arrangements, communication and building awareness, safety, etc.
  • Promote and provide support to our wellness initiatives.
  • Create, format, proof and finalize documents/presentations and spreadsheets. May assist with budgets, periodic reporting, and other data entry needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Human Resource experience, a plus.
  • Proven administrative and organization skills with ability to manage workload and effectively prioritize work.
  • Experience proofreading work for accuracy.
  • Competent and proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience handling and maintaining confidential information in a discreet and professional manner.
