Regional Sales Manager - Northern California

The story of Ron Rubin Winery begins over 40 years ago. Having studied viticulture and enology at UC Davis in 1971, Ron Rubin held a dream close to his heart of eventually owning a winery. The forty-year dream was achieved in December 2011 when he purchased a ten-acre vineyard in the Green Valley of Russian River Valley. Ron Rubin Winery is looking to hire a Northern California Regional Sales Manager who would be responsible for meeting the company sales goals as well maintaining strong wholesaler relationships. This role would report to the VP of Sales & Marketing.

Essential Functions:

  • Development, implementation and execute sales programs and goals for the following brands: Ron Rubin, Pam's Un-Oaked, The Republic of Tea Glass Bottled Teas
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with the top on and off premise accounts, both chain and independents
  • Work each market with Regional Manager and or distributor sales representatives, field managers and Key Account Managers
  • Daily distributor management responsibilities including monitoring of price points (including competitive set), orders, shipments, samples, training and POS management
  • Conduct sales meetings on a consistent basis to communicate sales and marketing objectives and keep winery brands at the forefront of all distributor sales presentations
  • Conduct quarterly market analysis surveys in all major markets
  • Provide monthly reports and accomplishments recap to VP of Sales & Marketing

Position Requirements:

  • Candidate must live in Northern California
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 – 5 years of wine industry experience
  • Building Brands and Customer relations knowledge
  • Multiple Market experience
  • Ability to travel as needed

Competencies:

  • VIP/Karma
  • MS Office Suite
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
