POSITION SUMMARY:

The Minister of Tea Service - Central Region will reimage, develop and direct new Food Service business in the Central Time Zone as this category reinvents itself in 2022 and 2023. The ideal candidate will be energetic with entrepreneurial instincts and proven thought leadership for this specialized channel of trade.

The Regional Account Manager - Food Service role is perfect for an individual who is a proven revenue generator who thrives on success and knows how to create new business, as well as manage accounts. In this role you will leverage your existing network to accelerate individual and company performance while accepting responsibility for existing accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS:

  • Develop dynamic conceptual sales presentations and proposals (both verbal and written plus virtual) to present to key decision makers
  • Utilize market research and networking to mine for new business opportunities
  • Partner with clients to analyze beverage menus and offer customized tea solutions that add value
  • Independently identify customer needs to deliver marketable customized programs
  • Articulate and organized, excited to cold call and pursue innovative opportunities
  • High level of intuitive innovation in the Food Service arena
  • Developed aptitude for negotiation, budgeting, and service

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in Food Service Sales
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Prior broker and distributor management experience preferred
  • A proven track record of sales achievement in an upscale industry
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently work remotely with frequent business travel; must live in a major city in the Central Time Zone; preference would be the St. Louis metro area
  • Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and enjoys wearing multiple hats
  • Strong interest and enjoyment of tea and botanicals
